Even real pirates cry sometimes

Friday night, after a very long day, I came home to find pirate booty galore in my mailbox! I am stunned and overwhelmed and I can't tell you what this means to me. Friday, my husband had surgery on his cervical spine, and waiting to hear if he was ok took forever. My kids had been home afterschool by themselves (although neighbors did check on them), and I was worried about them and my dearest husband.

He is home now, and doing well, and the kids are doing their best not to jump on him. More pirate goodies arrived today, so we had a rousing great time playing with them, chasing each other around and yelling Arrr!

I'm afraid in the confusion booty was separated from packaging, so thank yous have to be done here. Thank you, my friends. I mean, Arrr! Avast, me hearties... thar be plunder here!

Arrr, best wishes t' you all, Gar, most of all to Friday, your husband (that's what it says, "Friday, my husband..."); Arrr, husband Aye, me parrot concurs.

Enjoy the spoils of your sweet trade, Aye! I found this especially appealing:

Oh, Wendy, I'm so very glad all is going well. That must have been really scary - any 'spine stuff' is worrying. Take care. Have a great pirate day. . In message , frood writes
