Fabric ..... it's medical, you see

I bought fabric. A lot of fabric. I didn't need it, don't know what I'll do with it. But I bought fabric and paint to paint on it with and I'm not one bit sorry. I feel sorta pretty, matter of fact.

You see, I was driving to pick up my son and on one side of the street was a Krispy Kreme fund raiser sale and on the other side of hte street was the fabric store. It was one or the other. Sure the donuts were cheaper by a long shot, but I think we all have to start making healthy choices, don't you?????

But some Krispy Creme doughnuts DO sound kinda good right about now.

Good decision! By the way, how much is "a lot"?

They are ohhhhhhhh so yummy. It's best to get them when they come right out of the oven. The store has a big orange light in the front window and that's how you know that they are hot and ready to go.

Way to go Sunny. You are beautiful. Enjoy the fabric. I'm doing happy dance for you.

The Krispy Kreme closest to my town closed also. And the one where my mother lives probably didn't last a year. I don't think they are making converts outside their initial areas.

LOL!

I try not to comfort shop, it's a bad loop to get into, but you know, if buying something helps sometimes, then if the money is there and it's not getting out of control, then I'm all for it! I do it myself, I buy fabric simply because I want to buy fabric and I'd rather have some fabric than a donut!

I don't have any that is real close to me - probably 5 -7 miles from here which is not too far off the beaten path and they seem to be thriving. Always tons of cars in the parking lot at all times of the day.

Our local doughnut shop is the best. I would rather have them too over KK.

High fibre, low fat, sugar free, and helps the ecconomy! Couldn't be better!

Our Krispy Kreme closed yesterday because of the high cost of gas. (Does that mean no one was coming to the drive-up window?)

I am highly opinionated regarding donuts --

1) Krispy Kreme is yucky! Too sweet! Tastes like cotton candy. And I want my cotton candy at the fair with a corn dog, NOT for breakfast. 2) Dunkin' Donuts are the best nationally! 3) Jelly Donut, a local Reno/Sparks place, is THE best!! Huge, inexpensive, and within walking distance. So I walk the calories off before I eat them. (Well, almost.)

You made the right choice, Sunny! :-)

My small town has KK donuts at the convenience and grocery stores- packed in bags and boxes. They are shipped in from St. Louis, I think, about a 4 hr. drive. Then with all the stops the driver has to make on the way to us..... I'm guessing they are probably almost a day old by the time they get here. Pass. If I'm going to consume calories on that level I'd rather eat chocolate! VBG
