'cause it's the only accessible flat surface left with enough room for a stand! The rest are on the window sill, in another slotted holder :))
The part i'm happiest with is the plastic guttering we placed the corkboard. It's like an eraser holder on a chalkboard--surprising how much 'stuff' I can stack in there!
I have this quilt stand (cheap unfinished store purchase) where I used to put my WIP. However, one day I decided I needed a place to put rulers, sooo, I put some - oh forget it, too hard to explain. I am putting up some pictures on my webshots. Link is below.
