a month or so ago i exported and emailed all my fav quilting links to someone on here but since the crash i lost all my favs and all emails so no idea who it was...having a mind like a sieve that happens. so whoever it was i sent all those fav quilting links if you could return them all to me i'd be a happy camper. if anyone else would like to export from IE all their quilting fav links i'll take those too. ta muchly, jeanne san-fran at ihug dot co dot nz nzlstar on yahoo msg'r nzlstar on webshots

Oh dear, it was me and I don't know how to return the favor. My son put Linux on my new computer, I've been having trouble with newsgroups, and he just got them fixed today (after three weeks of trying to tell mom how it has to be done and mom not understanding squat). If you tell me how to send them, I'll be happy to do it.

wooooohoooooo, Phyllis, so glad u saw my post. now i'm gonna google and see if i can find the 'how to export links' info on there for ya. my dd's s/o is a linux techy but i'm sure it would not be explained so i understand it either. argh, i'm assuming u'r using opera too? oops, should send this to you, not the ng. sorry folks. jeanne

Don't know if it worked, but I copied and pasted them to you in an e-mail. Probably won't show up as click on links though right? Sigh . . . Some day I hope to learn how to use a computer properly. Don't use Opera. Don't have any idea what my son has put on here. Will find out what I can.

thanks Phyllis, i got the list and they arent links so tho i can figure out some of them, not most of them. what browser are you using in linux then? i thot opera was the one mostly used by linux users. if you use yahoo msg'r i dont mind helping you with what i can on puters. i am mostly self taught but have picked some brains along the way. have had a puter for 20yrs now. been thru a few different versions.lol. now if i could just get off me bum and burn some stuff to disc. i just keep putting it off. cheers, jeanne

thank goodness for those who have a tech in residence. thanks for giving phyllis that info, Lynn and G. :)) now if it works as it should i should have all those links i sent to Phyllis a few weeks back. fingers crossed. i've also since got some other links from a couple of you here. thanks so much. will be slowing going thru them and saving. argh. i had such a long list of links to all rctq folks pix too. :( now i gotta start all over again with those as time permits. hugz, jeanne
