I've tried. You know I've tried. . . but thinking inside-out, upside down and backwards defied me in my attempts at foundation piecing. There are great books and CDs here, Carol's paper, a scanner/printer; just everything except my brain couldn't get far enough 'outside the box' to get every piece right. In Quiltmaker # 120, March/April '08, Brenda Groelz (their editor-in-chief) has written 'Perfect Every Time'. If you've never tried foundation piecing, only produced some ho-hum attempts or have conquered this skill, you still will want to add Brenda's ideas to your quilting skills. Finally, she's explained so that even my and Spock's mentality of 'that's not logical' have made it! Do take a look. Polly
