I've never been, but I'm spending the night! Well, not in the show... ahh, the dreams of that thought! My cousin and his wife live in Philly, and my mom and I are flying up on Wed, Sept 24 to stay with them. I'll go to the show Thursday (I think Kris and Pat and their friend Kathy are going to be there Thurs), and then I have a class on Saturday.

I haven't been, but our guild has had a bus trip there for the past I don't know how many years, and everyone really looks forward to it.

I'll be there for a class on Thursday! We live not far from there, so I'll probably be back on Friday and Saturday. It'd be great if we could all meet.

Kris, can you suggest a place for a meet-up? Sort of like we did in Houston - there's a designated place, and whoever's there on any given day comes at a certain time. I'll be at the show Thursday and Saturday.

Wendy, You have to run into each other a hundred times there. It's one big room/hall with a snack bar in one corner. I remember some friends sitting there eating & we would shop and hand our packages over to them at a table. In the lobby, there is a restroom and a large table to pick up ads for other quilt shows. Does anyone have a special place that they meet with others???

Sandy, I have two Japanese Manhole cover quilts hanging in a special exhibit at this show. I haven't seen these quilts since they were in this area in May., then they headed for Conn., Ill, and then Denmark. I won't get them back until 2005. So I go and visit them when I can. < big grin>

A lot of the more outstanding quilts make the circuit to the other largerquilt shows and I've seen them before in other shows. ( Williamsburg,Llancaster,Pa., etc...) I'm going on a one day bus trip to the Philadelphia Show, with one of thequilt guilds that I'm ini ( so I can sit back and relax and not have to dothe driving this time). I registered for 2 classes on Saturday. Rug hooking and delectable mountains. I have always been intrigued with Rug hooking and it seemed like kismet that I was able to get in. Now I have to find the materials to take with me. Guess I just have to go shopping!!!

It looks like I will getting in Friday eve and leaving Sunday after shopping in the mall. Staying at the Holiday Inn. I would love to meet some of you. Kris, unless you are staying later in the day, I guess we probably won't find each other Sat.

Oh, that's a great idea! Karen, do you think you could meet between your classes on Saturday? My class is all day, but I could manage a quick meet up at the lunch break. 12:30 ish, 1:00? I'll be bringing my lunch, probably, so I won't have to wait in line for food.

I will be there on the Saturday most likely. Perhaps the Sunday...won't know til a bit closer...but definitely the weekend. I CANNOT wait. It is a fabulous show. :)

Hi, Can anyone esle meet on Thursday about noon for a quick meet-up at the special exhibits place.???? I am only going to be there on Thursday. I'd hate to come back and post that I didn't have any meet-ups, even though I'm coming with my guild on a day trip to the show.
