Frappr help!

I've been to

and looked and the pictures and clicked on the pins.

I filled out the form (about 6:30 a.m.) and it is now 7:00 p.m. and my entry isn't there.

The Frappr FAQ talks about membership -- do you need to be a member? -- but they don't give any instructions on how to join.

Help!

I'm having problems, too. It put my photo and shout out in the photos, but I'm not on the map. They didn't give me a pin. :(

I see your pin Tricia. You need to zoom in a little because at the main level Bev in Simonton is sitting on you :-) At least its not as bad as the Dallas area -- y'all are sitting on each others laps over there?

Tricia, you had duplicates of your shout out though, so I removed one of them, if you don't mind?

How do you zoom in?

And I don't see anything that looks like a pin. When I click on someone's name to the right, their pic comes up with their name and all, but it doesn't show on the map where they are. Their 'call out' just pops up in the top half of the map.

I'm not sure what the problem is then. Could you email the Frappr help guys -- snipped-for-privacy@aol.com? They have been very responsive when I have asked them questions. They may have a suggestion for you. If they suggest that I need to remove your name so you can re-subscribe, email me off list.

Can I blame it on the decongestant pill I took this morning? Label says not to operate heavy machinery so I didn't fire up the sewing machine. Thought the computer was OK though. Do I dare do some hand quilting, or do you think a needle qualifies as heavy machinery.

Depends on how dopey the decongestant makes you feel. I can't do anything on new meds that make you sleepy/groggy/dopey headed. Fortunately (or unfortunately depending on how you look at it) I build up a tolerance to things pretty quick. I'm up to 300mg of neurontin every 12 hours (if I take 200mg every 8 like I'm supposed to, I wind up waking up in the middle of the night gasping for air because it affects your neural transmitters and when I'm sleeping I wind up forgetting to breathe...and I guess I'm taking it too close together because I forget when I took the last dose and guesstimate) and it used to knock me out and now it just makes me a little sleepy some of the time. I'm not sure a decongestant would even make me feel anything anymore!

Have you been checked for Sleep Apnea? I have it and now am on a CPAP machine (still getting use to it) Only thing DH noticed is every once in a while I would 'gasp' for air--and it never woke me up doing so. Mine is a direct result of a lung injury 10 yrs ago.

My sweet Pollock had sleep apnea. He would just stop breathing - it would wake me up and I would nudge him and tell him to "breathe sweetheart". He would jerk, gasp, mumble and go back to sleep. I got better at going back to sleep as time went on.

My husband developed sleep apnea after his nose imploding while playing football as a teenager. Back then no one had ever heard of sleep apnea. Woke me up all the time. Being untreated for so many years caused him to develop congestive heart failure (the heart, as a muscle, wasn't getting enough oxygen to work properly). The doctor told me he had to have a tracheostomy immediately. I asked about the C-PAP machine and he said that, for my husband's problem, it would be like bailing out a battle ship with a teaspoon.

Now, 15 years later he still has the trache, still uses oxygen while sleep> My sweet Pollock had sleep apnea. He would just stop breathing - it would

My Pollock was on Oxygen - 24/7s - the last 3 years of his life. He had COPD and Emphysema. He was baker from time he was 14 years old and all the flour he had to breathe gave him what they call white lung. I had to sit and watch him die right before my eyes for 5 years. I know the burden your heart is carrying and pray for strength to bear it. My Pollock was the love of my life and every day with him blessed mine.

Jim has sleep apnea and uses the C-PAP machine too. He was driving me crazy, his breathing would stop and I would wake up and poke him, he would start breathing and I wouldn't be able to go back to sleep. I kept waiting for him to stop breathing again. The C-PAP works, except that sometimes the head gear slips and then the air blows out from under the mask and wakes me up. But at least he's alive! And that's how I want him to stay!
