GO Machine

So I went and did it! Bought myself one of the Accu-quilt GO Machines.

(Why do I feel guilty for buying something for myself that I want and can afford?)

Anyway, I'm excited. I envision using this to use up some of the stash I've been accumulating and turning it into actual quilts. What a novel thought? :>

The machine comes with one template and I bought one other, the tumbler template. I've made one quilt using the machine we have at the store and it's wonderful. All of the pieces, done quickly and, ALL THE SAME SIZE! Who woulda thunk it would make such a difference when sewing the pieces together?

Heck no. You don't have to finish what you're working on so you can play. Go play. Do it now. Work will always always be there. Enjoy your new tool. NObody will starve or die from dirt, and the economy will not collapse because you had some fun. Wish I was there to fix you some iced tea and cookies and cheer you on. ler of savoring

Well, yes, but the 'thing' I need to finish is a store sample. Only

12 more blocks to go and then I'll play. I never ever let something like housekeeping or cooking keep me from my destiny in life. joan

Hummmm...how about I send you some of my stash, you cut it up and then send it back to me? Good deal , huh? I don't think you should feel guilty...we know you'll be one of the people most likely to wear it out! Enjoy!

I looked at one of those last week. I would love to have it, but I don't have a place for it. DH told me to buy it, but I don't want to unless I can find an easy to use place to put it.
