good service from online store!

today I received an order from

it was well packaged and she got a total of 14 yards of fabric in just 2 global express envelopes! and (maybe thanks to my note) remembered *not* to put the total of the order on both envelopes but just what was in them.

it was also **fast** as it was sent the day after the order was placed (Jan

31st). arrival times are of course always a bit of a pot luck affair but it arrived in good time here too :-) I'm also pleased to say that they were definitively **not** stingy on cutting! in fact they were anything but!

and the price of the fabric and shipping was *right* of course ;-)

YAY!!

I've used this shop before and they're great, consistently. And the prices tend to be the best. Also, for the record, if you're an "animal" person, her newsletter is always fun to read. It's generally filled with the escapades of her herd of mini donkeys, giant donkeys, llamas and other creatures.

I'd like to mention another good service store. I ordered some $1.50 fat quarters from Laptop Quilts (

) and got them just a few days later. Great quality and good service. And a refund of over estimation of shipping, since she fit them all into one Priority Mail Flat rate envelope.

Thanks for the link. I found just the fabric I need for our Project Linus conference fabric swap. I don't think I've heard of this store before. It's always nice to hear about stores that treat their customers right.

And another fine online store report - I needed lots of variety in my Heart Strings quilt and ordered red fat quarter bundles from 3 shops. Equilter was not the first package to arrive but they sure do play dirty. Instead of just tossing leftovers at me, they sent killer gorgeous red fabrics. I want miles of every one of them. Smart marketing, I'd say. Polly

Howdy!

Quilter's Dream in Connecticut received my order on Friday, shipped that day, the pkg. was here the following Monday. With, as you say, the extra "estimated" posted discounted. That's fast, 2 shipping days to Tx. Accurate order, shipped in full. Fabulous fabric, too. ;-)

HI again... it used to take us an hour to get to Quilters Dream from our house when we lived in Ct. The owners there are such very nice people! The shop is on a quant street in an old victorian house and just ever so delightful. One room is full of flannels, one kids - prints etc. We would gather up a car-full and make a day of it.. lunch included.... worth visiting if any of you are in CT and can do it! Plus a great selection of patterns and books. hugs.. Memere Neets
