Excellent Service from Keepsake Quilting

Good Morning,

A couple of times in the past year I have ordered from Keepsake Quilting in NH and been disappointed in the length of time it took for my order to be processed and sent. Before that time, service had been excellent.

I am THRILLED to report that they are back in their game! I placed an order early yesterday morning. An email acknowledgment arrived within an hour. A shipping confirmation email arrived in mid-afternoon with tracking information in it. I just checked the tracking and I see that my order is on a truck to be delivered TODAY. Wow!

It was fun to see that my fabric is pretty well traveled. Keepsake is in New Hampshire. The order was routed to a FedEx warehouse in Connecticut and will be delivered to me in Massachusetts today. Fun :-)

That is good news - the last time I ordered from them, it was over a week between the time that I placed my order and when it was shipped - and when I tried to find out when it might be shipped, they got a little snippy - said the website SAID it would be 7-10 days. I replied that I thought that was the time between ordering and getting the shipment, and they replied that I was wrong, that they are "allowed"

7-10 days to get the shipment out.

All in all, it was almost three weeks between ordering and the time I got the fabric - this happened twice. I stopped ordering from them, in three weeks I can haul myself to Panama City and go to the quilt store. It's 45 miles, but it doesn't take me three weeks!

It may take a while. I am a fan of their " Cleaning" FQ bundles. A "Spring" and a "Fall" will be arriving along with a free FQ medley of their choice. It was the free medley promotion that spurred me to order. I'd been procrastinating on the bundles because I really don't need 200 FQs, really, well maybe not, well maybe I do ...

I love Keepsake Quilting. Last year I placed an order, and they emailed me that one of the items was out of stock, and did I want to keep it on order, or just cancel that particular item. They said they thought it would be 6 weeks before they received the item. I told them that it wasn't anything I needed now, and just keep it on back order. They promptly mailed the remainder of my order, and I received the back ordered item in about 4 weeks.

Howdy!

Same here, Sherry. When they contacted me last time to say an item was no longer available, they sent me a coupon for free shipping w/ an apology.

RobertaZ & I both took advantage of the fat quarter sales, last year,

100 f.q. for $100. (I egged her on- didn't take much effort .) Great fabric, wonderful variety, good service. Time for another bundle, I think. ;->

Ooo! I remember getting an e-mail this week offering a free FQ medley with any order over $60. Did you get in on that?

Oh, yes, I certainly did get the free medley. That is what prompted me to place an order. I got home last night to find a box containing 17 pounds of FQs :-) At the risk of being shunned from this group, I have to say that I did open the box and pull out the packages but I did not have time for any fondling. The free medley is "interesting". It is not something that I would have chosen if given the option but it might grow on me. The colors are right, but the prints are very 60's I think. Its saving grace is the inclusion of a fair amount of LIME. :-)

The bundles look to be a very interesting mix but are packaged differently from previous indulgences. The last ones I bought a couple of years ago were flat and included some collections or medleys. These are all individually folded FQs. I won't really know what I have until I rip open the bags and spread them out. Maybe I'll take some pictures.
