Ms. Butterfly usually does this, but I think she is occupied with her big move. If Butterfly has already lead the birthday greetings for our July Birthday Friends, I hope I don't step on her feet.

Thank you, Pat! Having just returned from a dr visit to find out that I am old enough to have arthritis, it is esp nice to be given birthday wishes! The older I get the more I appreciate how youth is wasted on the young...but hey! I am getting *craftier* as I age, to make up for other things!

Thanks, Pat :) I appreciate it. I thought about it on the First and that was it. Pretty much unpacked, but I'm swamped with DR appts at Mayo Clinic.So far they have FOUND the REASON for the constant back pain--now they are doing the work-ups on it to see which way to go to 'get it under control'. I have had 3 Drs here already tell me that I will NEVER be pain-free but maybe they can get it to be 'less' and 'more manageable'. I have hope.

Thank you Pat!! And especially a big thank you to all those birthday squishy senders out there.... I have been so delighted in my mailbox this week. Hugs to you all!! (And each piece is finding a home in a challenge quilt I'm working on for this summer's community celebration. I'm working on a kind of New York Beauty kind of thing in bright colors, and the squishys are perfect!)
My bestest present has been my granddaughters from Florida coming to visit this week. No time for sewing but a fun time for hanging out and playing. (And I can hear them still rustling around upstairs after 11 p.m. so I'd better go do some Gramma business......)

Thanks going to Marcella for the wonderful birthday squishie I received! I also received one from an anonymous squisher! I had a quiet birthday, going out to lunch with DH, and a call from both my DSs.
