Happy Birthday, USA!

To my fellow Americans: Pat's Original Fife and Drums Corps will be playing a medley of Patriotic Songs and a rousing Birthday Song too.

I will be celebrating at one of our most important Historical Sites. I'll take part in the Freedom Run though a Battlefield, and later watch the Parade from the Battlefield, through the Village. My county boasts two favorite sons who signed the Declaration of Independence. One is buried in the village. French allies are buried here too. All will be honored, but the focus will be on FUN!!

Hope you have a safe and fun filled holiday. PAT in The Historic Triangle of Virginia

Howdy!

Ragmop/Sandy--On Topic 'cause there's a quilt included

And I seem to recall our Ms. Ragmop has an additional celebration coming up tomorrow... :)

Howdy!

Thank you!

Hope KathyA sees that Donation Quilt. Hey, Kathy? KATHYYYYYYYYEEEEEEE!

I didn't until just now -- the first link you posted locked up my computer, so I didn't make my way any further down the line until now. :)

Good job! I may have to finish a UFO tomorrow in your honor. Wednesday I get to watch the A's get the tar kicked out of them by the Tigers. But it's $1 hot dog day, so a good time will be had. *grin*

Thank you Pat. Attended an actual celebration today, heard a patriotic speech about the land of opportunity, watched the American Consul hand over a batch of student visas to some eager young persons, and heard a rendition of The Star-Spangled Banner. Got all teary-eyed, even though it's not a soprano-friendly song! Roberta in D, very nice but still a foreign country
