Happy Dancing!

I've been busy this past week... making pillowcases for our local domestic abuse shelter. We make them both pillowcases, drawstring bags and collect items (like paper goods, foods, clothing, etc) at our monthly meeting.

On Monday, our guild Sit-N-Stitch will be meeting to make more. I've got a stack of fabric all ready for them. But I've got a head start with 15!!!

They are so easy - I think I will be making a bunch for Christmas gifts this year.

You can see them in my Webshots Album... in my Charity Projects folder.

Those are really cute! What a nice charity donation....and they look fun to make! Is the little band folded or just a sewn in band? What's your formula for the size proportions?

Love your DWR blue quilt! Barbara in FL

Good work! Well done! Reminds me that it's time to get going on a stack of drawstring bags for my shelter project. Made 4 teddies this weekend, so I'm in the mood. Roberta in D

Thanks! The really sad thing is -- I don't have any pictures of the finished quilt! When I took it to be delivered to the bride, I took lots of pictures because the lady who quilted it for me did an awesome job.

On the way home... the digital camera was lost. Broke my heart. I suppose I could contact the bride -- but I figured next time I see her -- I'll ask to take some more pictures.
