I can't speak for Polly, but it would certainly rule ME out! LOL

We could always choose to be placed in the Martha Stewart Memorial Prison. They wer allowed crochet hooks there, so who's to say we can't do a little sewing?

Not a problem. The high sheriff has a DNA order out to his deputies for me. That's 'Do Not Arrest'. His budget just can not afford my medical care. He pretty much lets us old biddies run wild. Polly

some of your comments raise the most wonderful mental images Polly - thanks for the laugh
Love to make you smile, Cheryl. The truth is, this is not a wealthy county and I really have seen old folks with their various medical expenses turned away from the jail. Polly

ROFL, Polly. I have a chronic health problem that we might just call "Moneypitis". I have considered breaking some sort of federal law (maybe stealing my neighbor's junk mail???) so that I would be put in a federal facility and my medical care would be covered at tax payer expense. Problem with that is they will never let me bring my fabric and sewing machine. I think you're right about us biddies (refuse to think of myself as "old" yet -- Granny lived to be 102 and I'm not half-way there yet ) running wild. Just as long as we aren't running with scissors.

I agree, Cheryl! I love reading Polly's posts.
You've warmed my little heart. Thank you so much. Now, back to my regularly scheduled quilt pining. (The one underway is a bit crabby about being pinned.) Wish you were here to help. I would promise not to tell my Christmas joke. Just yet. Polly
Back in August when I first joined this group for a second time in about 8 years. The first person that caught my eye was Polly and her humor. She cheers me every time I read a post from her. her name also reminds me of my best friend's daughter, when she was about 5 years old she told someone she was going to change her name to Polly Ester. So I think of her every time I see Polly's name, also.

Now I have to pay attention to what I'm doing.
