I just want to say that I am having SO much fun putting together the thank-you-for-doing-the-hug-list quilt blocks that you guys sent me! It's beautiful, and makes me feel really good to making a Quilt For Me right now. You guys sent me such lovely blocks to work with - how could it possibly be anything BUT beautiful! TIA, and I will also be back when it is quilted and posted in webshots.

One of the most fun part of hug quilts (for me anyway!) is seeing how these "hodge-podge" blocks all end up in one quilt... and it works! Nobody really knows what everybody else has done... but it works!!
Goes to show you that the karma of hug quilts is pretty powerful!

My HUG quilt was presented to my friend Judy Friday night - after a good bawling session, we chowed down on Italian food. She's still blubbering - she's such a sweetie. It was great fun putting it together - I was so surprised to see how many purple fabrics were out there. I was practically stalking the mailman every day to see if another block arrived. :-) What fun!!!
