I made the mistake of visiting the LQS. I fell in love with a quilt they had hanging on the wall - I purchased the kit!! This is something I've never done before, but the fabric isn't available without the kit. It was just shouting "Buy Me".
Then I returned home to see that I had been getting several phone calls while I was out - the area code was 848. I got the phone book out couldn't find that area. I was puzzled, then the phone rang again and it was my DH calling me from Viet Nam!!! He had been trying to call to find out how much silk fabric I wanted and in what colors!!! He's been gone for a few weeks and he'll be coming home on Friday - carrying a large bundle of silk! It looks like I'll be making a silk quilt along with the quilt kit I just purchased. It looks like I'll be able to use that silk batt I purchased last year.
