Maybe Sandy or Carl know of any LQS's in Las Vegas? I am planning a trip next August for my son's wedding there and will probably stay a few days. Will probably have my mom with me and she also quilts. We'd love to explore alittle...any suggestions?

Naturally, Amy! There are several shops in the area. If you're going to be near where I am in Henderson, Quiltique is "my" LQS: 213 N. Stephanie, Henderson 89014 702-563-8600, quite close to the Stephanie exit from I-215. They're also Bernina dealers and have just expanded the shop, so it's even nicer than it was before.
Other shops in the area: Christmas Goose 2988 S. Durango #109, LV 89117 702-877-1158 (okay -- lots of flannel, though!) Fabric Boutique 4465 W. Charleston, LV 89102 7702-878-0068 (closest to the Strip, nice shop!) Fiddlesticks 1229 Arizona St., Boulder City 89005 702-293-2979 (about 20 minutes southeast of LV, cute shop) Nancy's Quilt Shop 3290 N. Buffalo Dr., Suite 120, LV 89129 702-839-2779 (one of my two favorites, not close to me, though)

I visited a couple whilst I was there before Christmas, both on the North side of town. One was Nancy's Quilt Shop, can't remember the name of the other one, I'll probably recognise it in another response and I do have it written down if no one comes up with it. Both were worth the visits I think, both large stores with plenty of quilts on display.
