Vegas Shop Tour

Looking for quilt shops in Vegas, saw a website for a company that does shop hops on demand...4 Vegas quilt shops plus lunch. Price seems a bit high to me: $80! Has anyone done this? Is it worth it, or can I walk/bus to quilt shops from the strip? I'm not totally sure I want to desert my husband for a whole day while I go off and do this...would rather do one or two shops a day in between other things unless the shops are so far from the main area that it's not doable by bus or on foot.

Las Vegas is a huge place and the quilt shops are not near the strip. One of my favorites is Quiltique in Henderson. I think 4 quilt shops plus lunch is fairly reasonable. Do you plan to rent a car? If you have a car you can easily do one or two a day, otherwise it would be a problem to get to them. There is a bus system in Las Vegas but it would take some planning and I don't know if it is easily done.

Sandy is in Henderson and she would know a lot better than I, she'll probably be here any minute to answer your questions.

Howdy!

Cool. Good trip, Kim. ;-)

Last week my husband was in Las Vegas. As usual when one of my own goes out there, I sent along a $20 bill, "Win for me!" And they always do. However, this is the first time the winnings have returned to me. My $200 is now waiting for another trip, and it IS National Quilting Day. ;-P

Cheers!

Ragm> So, I did, indeed take the tour: only 3 shops [cost $60.]. There was one
