I won't be around for a few days. The deadline for the "prefinished" red wall hanging is Thursday night. I had a rough weekend physically and I'm having a rougher start to the week. You don't want the details; same-old same-old for me with flare of chronic pain etc. But it gets in the way of work. I start to make bad mistakes. I fall asleep at weird times.
Anyway, add to that a potential crisis for son away at college and regular household stuff and I am way, way too caught up. I'm sewing like a madwoman. I'm not sure how this looks or if it looks or anything. But it WILL be "prefinished" (that means top basically pieced and ready for quilting/embellishment). I hoped some of the very experienced art quiltersi n this round robin would end up providing mentoring to the less experienced (that would be me, LOL). No. So I'm making it up as I go along, hoping it will work. If they tell me they won't put my section into the whole group, well......heck with them.
So I hope you all have a wonderful few days with lots of quilting and lots of goodness and peace in your lives. Hug the people you love and tell them how wonderful they are.
