Has anyone done any of these? One of my quilting friends and I are thinking about challenging each other and other guild members with these.

Our guild made little 2" blocks ans sewed lapel pins on them to sell at our quilt show. The method illustrated in this tutorial would have made it much easier to make them! Can you imagine making a 1" x 1" quilt? Yikes!

I've done some - actual 1 inch square quilts! I used a really heavy interfacing, slightly less than 1/4 inch thick, fused a tiny picture to one side, printed on fabric, and some gorgeous hand marbled silk on the other, then actually machine stitched some of the details, making it a 3 layer quilted quilt!!
