Thank you all for your lovely replies. Yes, Eddie is the most mischievous cat we have ever had but also the most smoochy. I get greeted in the morning with lots of meows requesting to be picked up - of course I do just that.

The quilt was a great hit with the eldest (5 yrs) of the three boys, but as it is not for him, and now their grandmother and I have to make two more 'dinosaur' quilts.
