I think the quilt show in San DIego is the end of August. A touch shorter swim and more time to do it jeanne!

I was hoping to go to the show with my sis. I have been out of town a couple of times in the last couple of weeks and I am not sure I have even a trip to LB in me. If she wants to do it I would guess it would be Sat. but I just don't know now. We may just try for SD. DS just lives up the street from the convention center there so I could make a trip of it.

I did hit M&L the other day. 29 total yards of fabrics. I sure have fun > argh, i cant swim that fast and its soooooooo far to go.

M & L??? is that a local store? i know a few in Red. Beach, but that doesnt sound familiar.

i found it on a map. you're about 60 miles from where my son lives (San Pedro). i will remember that!!

I am right on the coast, about 50 miles south of Santa Barbara, and about 60 miles north of Los Angeles International Airport.

Unfortunately I do not know of any other rctq members near me. Ms Butterfly, until she moved, was 130 miles doorstep-to-doorstep from me, Bakersfield.

For anyone going to the Houston West show next weekend, please be sure to stop by The Creation Station booth in vendor row. It is owned by my friend Patrick and Dawn Farrier. Their theme for this show is TCS Racing [The Creation Station Racing] and they will be deckedout in black-and-white checkered flags and such, in honor of the Long Beach Grand Prix car race. I think Patrick's hair will be purple, Dawn's will be orangy-red.

And I just discovered that my Hoffman Challenge quilt will be displayed in the group at the Long Beach IQF!!! Would love to have a picture of it hanging if anyone who is going thinks of it.
