Meet-up with Terbear :)

Yesterday I had the *great* pleasure of meeting Teri, her DH and her two adorable sons (Josh, the quilter, and Sammy of the strong opinions ). They were in town for a tournament Teri wanted to participate in, and we were able to meet for lunch.

Some of you may think that Teri is delightful on the list. Let me tell you that she's *twice* as delightful in person. She brought Sammy's quilt for me to admire (and it's worth admiring, believe me!), as well as some adorable knitted caps she's been making; and we (Teri, her DH Ken, and Sammy -- Josh was happily entertaining himself at Kids Quest) had a long, leisurely talk as we ate a yummy lunch, served by a waiter named Bull; he had hippy parents. He was allergic to so many foods that he found it difficult to recommend any particular thing, and he kept forgetting the lemon for my water because he can't touch lemons for fear of an allergic reaction, poor guy!

Ken thought I looked familiar, and I had to break the very sad news that I'm not famous for anything. Sammy gave me an extra fork and informed me that it was *his* quilt I was fondling. ;) Josh grinned modestly as he told me that he was a quilter, too. :) Teri and I talked about so many things that I can't begin to list them all here. LOL!

Here's hoping we'll be able to repeat our meet-up again soon! :)

How very fun!

Bull needs some career counseling though.

LOL! I agree -- with his allergies, food service isn't very logical. ;)
