MIA?

Haven't heard from Butterfly lately, but it is hot, HOT here. We are in the midst of an extreme heat advisory (temperatures of 110=B0 and up). I am miserable because we have mostly been without AC for the last few days. sigh. Guy came out on Tues. and replaced the motor on the unit,(heck of a "birthday present") but it is still having serious problems. Will run one cycle with cool air then blows hot/outdoor air. If we turn it off for 45-60 minutes then turn back on it works one cycle of cool air. and so on. Guy was supposed to be back yesterday, no show. Was supposed to be here between 11 and 1 today, now it is between 6-7:30. I want to sew, but not going to happen until we get cool air. Don't dare turn on the iron to press fabric or blocks or anything. (Sorry to whine..... but it is hot and the humidity is also up with fallout from Hurricane Alex.)

Yuppers, I be here. Been hit with a combo of Artie and Fibro and Neuropathy (hands and feetz) at the same time. Finally on the other side with most of it 'cept the feetz...and sometimes the knees. Knees are 'new pain' to the point that they'll be x-rayed the 6th.

Top it off with Mr Joe having outpatient surgery on that spot on his tummy that hadn't gone away since surgery 3 yrs ago. Dr said it was a 'suture' that the body decided on rejecting and it was from a surgery done in B'splat!...so it's out as of yesterday. He's doing as well as expected for now. (hot temps will keep him 'quieter' than if it had been done in the fall)

I've been playing at sewing squares into rows on the first of 4 I Spy's. First one, the babe is a yr old already and his bro/sis will be here by oct...so I best get 'busy-ier' on them.

Yourn ain't been fergot.....jez not typing....TG for the library for keeping me somewhat sane.
