For those of you who tried following the pattern directions...... is it really necessary to do the swatch chart, or will arranging the blocks on my design wall work? Thinking ahead is one thing, and if you recommend doing the swatch chart, I will. I really want this to work out. TIA

I don't remember doing a swatch chart but you do want to keep it on your design wall. After I cut the pieces and had it all laid out, I took a picture with my digi cam. All that and I still had to do a little frog stitching.
