I am currently taking a Jodi Barrows' Square-In-A-Square class and we are using different colors of Moda Marble Stars to piece our blocks (found at

).There are 12 different blocks that we are making and it is a lot of fun (andchallenging!). Hopefully I will be able to complete them and post at alater date.

This is not a good thing to tempt a person who has a "thing" about star fabrics. Thanks?? for sharing.

Oh, you're welcome!

I love the royal blue, the lemon yellow, the bright red, the lime green.....yummy, and it looks so wonderful cut up in all those pieces. I am really loving this new way to make flying geese. So easy.

I've also taken a workshop with that ruler. We were supposed to keep with the red, white and blue theme, but I went with 3 shades of mauve and black and ended up with an Amish star quilt. I loved the fact that I had a couple of errors in it. I didn't try and plan how the star points went, in keeping with the Amish thought that only God is perfect. I also did my first paper cut cable design for one of the borders. Have fun with the technique.

I'm in love with the site you sent us Bev! Goegeous quilts in their gallery. I can't wait to see your quilt made in those wonderful colours. I'm going to have to look for some of moda fabrics up herein Canada.
