Moon over the mountain question

If you use pinking shears to trim your circles, they are pre-notched for you. And be sure not to clip too close to the stitching, not only to insure not clipping the thread but also because that can cause "points" in your curve.

A friend of mine made that pattern and did a simple machine quilted design on it. She did horizontal undulating "waves". It reminds me of wispy clouds in front of the moon. Very easy and it looks great.

Mine DID do something like that with a pair of new Ginghers of mine about 6 years ago - he stripped wire with'em. And then promptly went out and bought me a new set - one of those designer sets! That's how bad (and scared) he felt!
