MQing -spacing

I decided just to do a very simple diagonal MQ on my YBR. Sometimes I think (okay, I know) I get too caught up in how fancy or intricate to be. And I decided if the front is simple, go with a simple quilting. This twin size will be put on a couch in our sunroom, so whoever wants to go take a nap will have a blankie. If I do diagonal rows, 3" apart just in one direction, will that be enough to hold the batting?

It all depends on the batting. Look at the package and it should state how closely it needs to be quilted. Stitching spacing can be anywhere from 10" to 1/4". So as you see, you have to be careful choosing your batting.

I have made several YBR's and that is how I quilted all of them. I use Warm and Natural and the quilting has held up very well.
