Better late than never, I guess. I've started catching up on the Blocks of the Month. I finished two December blocks today.

They look purr..fect to me Carole. I love the little sayings you added.Quite unique!! Well done to you!
Those are some very nice blocks Carole. I especially like the one on the left because I love brights, but the one on the right with the fussy cut words must have been a bear to make. You did a grand job of getting the wording centered and level. Debra in VA See my quilts at
Both blocks look beautiful!!
I think I'm 4 or 5 months behind.
Thanks, everybody! I tried to stay far enough away with the camera for the mismatches not to show! :) Those sayings are from a panel of fabric I bought from Keepsake Quilting. Some of them are too big for these intricate blocks, but I just could squeeze those four sayings into those squares. I hope that there will be spaces in some of the remaining blocks to work in a few more of the quotes.
I'm working on January's blocks now. I'm determined to get caught up. I caught up on my Carol Doak Home Sweet Home rows for the project she has on her Yahoo group. When I get these BOMs caught up, I need to get back to machine quilting my throw quilt, "There are Cats on my Quilt." (I'm really working on using up my cat fabrics! :)

I love both!!! I reckon I have a few pieces of those bright kitties here - not to mention koalas, bears, crocodiles and others - I picked them up at a show a few years back.
