WOW!!! Karen, it's glorious! I love your color choices and the movement across the quilt. You've done GREAT with this huge project- 6,000 pieces???? Amazing!

This was one I designed myself, a paper pieced pattern. Thanks! Off to go outside now. : )

Stunning. Can't wait to see it finished!! Morag
Beautiful, Karen. I was just wondering about this project the other day. I'm so pleased you are able to continue.

absolutely beautiful! wish I could paper piece.
It looks great, Karen! :)
hmm...... I just flipped and I totally see what you mean. However, it feels backwards that way to me because of how I'm picturing the setting around those four blocks. I'm seeing the expansion of the universe, four partial stars moving away from the others. I'll be playing with the in-between strips this afternoon and post a picture of what I come up with. If I can't pull it off, then other eyes may want to see what you are seeing when they lay the opposite way. Thanks muchly!

I'm thinking plain, with a narrow border, a wider pieced border, and another narrow border.

Absolutely awesome!!!! Can't wait to see the finished quilt! Keep us posted!
6000 pieces????!!! (boggles my poor lil mind!) ME-JudyThat's even more beautiful than I envisioned it would be. Great job!
Looking good. ;)
Yes, its lovely - I was thinking about it the other day too!
The little pieces waiting stitching - I went back for a second look, and a third.... it may be me, but I see them as being the completion peices for the bigger stars with dark grey little piece on the bottom right hand side, not the thin ones with the light grey.
Oh dear...should I have said that.

Precious little, let me tell ya, because in my PPing my stitches are so tiny the last thing I want to do is take any OUT!

Yes, you should say that. Do you mean flip it around bottom to top?
