Beautiful, Karen. I was just wondering about this project the other day. I'm so pleased you are able to continue.

hmm...... I just flipped and I totally see what you mean. However, it feels backwards that way to me because of how I'm picturing the setting around those four blocks. I'm seeing the expansion of the universe, four partial stars moving away from the others. I'll be playing with the in-between strips this afternoon and post a picture of what I come up with. If I can't pull it off, then other eyes may want to see what you are seeing when they lay the opposite way. Thanks muchly!

I'm thinking plain, with a narrow border, a wider pieced border, and another narrow border.

Yes, its lovely - I was thinking about it the other day too!

The little pieces waiting stitching - I went back for a second look, and a third.... it may be me, but I see them as being the completion peices for the bigger stars with dark grey little piece on the bottom right hand side, not the thin ones with the light grey.

Oh dear...should I have said that.

Yes, you should say that. Do you mean flip it around bottom to top?
