I wish I could share with you my stash since it is sorted much differently. I don't know that you'd be comfortable with my system. Mine has sub-sorts to: fun, floral, animal, dots, stripes, crazy, special (which includes some neons and some Michael Miller sparkles) and a new group that was recently given to me. It is named 'peace' because it contains very calm, soothing 'looks like' crushed pale neutral silks. Some of my neutrals are as warm as hot buttered toast. Ask your wife if she will arrange a play date for us. I'm basically harmless and I'll bring lunch. Polly

Polly, Sweetie!! I KNOWS just where Tampa bay is!! Holy Moly!! My Dh & I frequent Florida on a yearly basis (to escape the cold in Maryland) :-)

You're smart. My advice to new quilters is to NOT buy fabric that don't already have a project for. Obviously, I'm much better at giving good advice that at keeping it.

And NONE of it is prewashed...

Part of my rationals is that the more fabric I have, the longer I have to live so I can use it all. I can't leave a single scrap. DW has already warned me that she's burying whatever is left with me.
