Hi everyone, Thanks for letting me join. I just started quilting and I think I'm hooked already. I enjoyed very much doing my first quilt and I was wondering if any of the members are living in Maryland. I am living in Fredeick for one year with my boyfriend. I am orginally form Brazil but lived in Holland for ten year (my dad is dutch and we moved to holland). I met Rob, my boyfriend, 6 years ago in The Hague, he is from Australia. We moved to the USA for his job. You can check out my blog ....the pictures of the baby quilt are posted in it. Well hope you drop by and leave me a post. Take care. Cheers Alex

Welcome Alex. What are you planning for your second quilt?! . In message , alex glitterlife writes

It's beautiful! I especially like the fabric you used for the back- so much nicer than an ordinary solid.

Pam > Hi everyone,

the page comes up with nothing posted on it yet. i even tried CTL/refresh and nothing there. :( jeanne

Welcome Alex! that's a nice international family you've got....Especially the Aussie boy -- Now you have an excuse to visit Down Under.

That's a *darling* quilt, Alex! Great job! What are you planning for your next one? What kind of chocolate do you like (this is an

*important* question in this group )?

Hi, I am in Maryland, Severna Park. It's near Annapolis. My son lives in Sharpsburg, about 45 minutes west of you.

is just darling! Now that you are a quilter, I hope you take advantage of your proximity to Hampton Roads area of Virginia to attend the Annual MAQF here.

Now, about RCTQ, welcome. The only rule you really need to know: Send a pound or two of chocolate to the Official Chocolate Tasting Office, conveniently located here in my Palace in Virginia, USA. I will taste test if for you and report via E-Mail. No need to thank me! It is my selfless volunteer service to the RCTQ Community.

What fun photos, and welcome to quilting! I think your baby quilt is wonderful, keep up the good work. We're here to cheer you on, and encourage your new addiction. You won't be starting your new project alone, not by a long shot!
