My 'new' cabinet!!

I'm just on cloud nine...we just got back with my 'new' sewing cabinet, a perfect-condition used Koala 'Outback Plus.' It was posted to our local Craigslist yesterday & I emailed the seller right away. As luck would have it I was the first inquiry and she got back to me this morning and I couldn't wait to go get it. My DH (who is so supportive, bless him) said sure, let's go! So we drove down with the truck and right now we're waiting on DS to come by and help DH bring it into the house.

And you won't believe the price - $300! The owner and her DH moved into a smaller condo and are downsizing...but when she showed me the receipt for the cabinet - $1800 - I just about went into shock. It's just a few years old and very well cared for, there isn't a thing wrong with it.

It looks exactly like this one:

I've been dreaming of a cabinet just like this for years and am just over the moon about it given I'd never be able to afford a new one, much less a Koala...somebody pinch me..!

Way to go! I know you're going to love the new cabinet. Congrats on being at the right place at the right time (and for having a DH who is super wonderful!).

sigh gasp whine Gracious. I am just SO happy for you. Couldn't have happened to a nicer person. Well, maybe one. Dancing for you, Polly
