A dear, dear friend who has been a HUGE help during my injury down time needs some help. She wants to make a tree skirt from the Omnigrid 9 degree circle wedge ruler by Marilyn Doheny but has lost the directions even though she's previously made one. This is a strip technique in which you sew the strips and then cut the wedges by flipping the ruler around for each cut. What she needs to know ASAP (she's driving through Paducah tomorrow and wants to stop at Hancock's only IF she knows the correct instructions) is how much fabric to buy for the tree skirt. AND how wide to cut the strips. She doesn't want to buy extra fabric as she only wants as much Christmasy fabric as needed for this project. So.....if any of you have the directions for this ruler and technique, could you please post them or send them to me? I'll then call her tomorrow as she's on her drive. I really hope I can find this info for her. I've been thinking about what I could do for her and I know she would be really happy to have this information. Thanks in advance!!
