Have you considered publishing the pattern? I think there would be a market for it. It's a beautiful quilt.

Wow! I don't know what else to say.
I love the star circle and the pinwheels, but all you work is beautiful.
And, while I will agree that Gabriel is just the cutest furball ever... I'll take Caleb!!
Thanks for shar> Well, I finally have had my camera replaced and I wanted to share some
Howdy!
Amen. What Kitty says! Gorgeous work, Kitty; thanks for the show&tell.
In my favorite words from quilting Guru Mary Ellen Hopkins: It's just quilting!
Several years ago I made my first DWR/DoubleWeddingRing quilt, pieced those curves by hand, it went together fairly easily, got it quilted, took it to the LQS where I worked to show our quilting group that I could indeed make my own quilts, and then, THEN!!!, I learned that this is a "hard" or "difficult" pattern, all those curves, all those little connecting pieces, yadda-yadda. *snort* I didn't know that! ;-D Nah, it wasn't hard; I was enjoying the quilt-making, enjoying the quilting, loving the fabric, wasn't difficult at all.
Enjoy quilting, Michelle. And: Welcome!
Ragmop/Sandy -- still quilting in n.Tx. --did I mention it's hot here?
Welcome!
They are all just gorgeous!!
Thanks Maureen. I was really pleased with the way it turned out. I thought about renaming it my sherbet quilt. Yummy!
Thanks Taria. That's still on the design board. Maybe next? It'd be interesting to see how it turns out.
Thank you Karen :)
I don't know how I would go about publishing that,...certainly would be interested. Has anyone here done that?
Thanks Tricia.
And I have to say, Caleb is a bit bigger now...you might be better off going with the pup :) At least he takes naps!
Thank you Donna!
Thanks Larisa!
The most straightforward (ie easy!!) thing to do would be to send a picture of the quilt to a magazine and ask if they would be interested in publishing an article on that quilt. Start with the one you think you would prefer to work with - or which includes patterns comparable to yours in terms of style and difficulty. Not that most magazines would not welcome a slightly difficult one now and again. There are always a lot of 'beginner' type quilts around. In my experience, magazines are always quite glad to receive ideas etc from 'new' people. Do them one at a time, in case they all want it!! Or, I suppose you could do them all together and accept the offer that gets back to you first >g<
I completely agree that it is a very desirable pattern.
If you want to publish the pattern itself, that needs rather more. If you decide that is what you want to do, there is at least one person in the group who has done it - she might pop in with advice? . In message , KittyG writes
Make sure your directions get tested before publication. I suspect there would be plenty of here who would be willing to test it for you. Now is the time to document your design with dates, etc., so you can defend your copyright in the event someone else copies it and publishes it.

I'm catching up after a computer swap!! Wow, you've just been busy!! Those are gorgeous. But tell me, how did the puppy get on the sewing table? I thought only cats did that. LOL
Hi Terrilee :) Thanks!
Actually, the sewing room turned out to be the storage for all my sewing junk. I ended up doing the actual sewing out on the coffee table in the family room. Quite comfortable once you get it organized... and the dogs settle down!
Thank you both, something to think about. So neat when something turns out so good.
