Well this new machine just quit working. There are no more stitches. The motor sounds fine. The needle goes up and down. I looked in the bobbin case and there's no lint, no burs, nothing. The needle goes up and down fine but doesn't sew sew. What could have happened? I didn't use this machince for years. No one's ever abused it or dropped it, it's like brand new............ I feel sick. :*(
Many times in moving, the needle pressure adjustment has popped....is this an older machine? look at the top of the machine, on the cover, lots of times there is "rod" that pops up make sure it is pushed in all the way.. Mauvice in central WI..

: YES!!!! You're right. I noticed that as well. And YES again, this is a machine from the early 90s but I seldom used it since we moved to a smaller place soon afterward. I sure miss the large sewing area I had there.
