so *that* is where my chocolate and liquorice stash disappeared to!!! I knew I hadn't eaten it all as I am down a size in clothes and chocolate hates to leave my body after being ingested

Well, you know how I don't tolerate chocolate hoarders!! For what it's worth Butterfly - my second son and I are going to *be* butterflies for Halloween, he a monarch, myself red-ish. :) And I've learned several stealth moves with my three boys, need to be able to catch them in action y'know!

Ah, so you're a GEODE!!!!

No hand piecing here: carpal tunnel. That's why I fell in love with Carol Doak and paper piecing!!! I ended up doing some really intricate stuff that took a long time, I haven't been able to post my quilt pics yet. (That time management thing again.) I need to get them together and say: "Here DH, put them on line so my friends can see that I actually DO quilt!!!"

Well, the office isn't just an "office" it has books and PTA stuff and my collection of sewing machines (except 2) and a TV...and my Mary Kay business - which I've started in the past year. But I can't even do

*that* very much with the fact of three little DS and a DH who uses weekends as time to get household things done (um, hello....doesn't the SAHM get time to HERSELF?!?!?!?!) Summer was brutal, but anyway...the cutting table had to come down - it is easily moved back in, but it isn't in the room, and it makes me very sad. :(

S> Goodness, Sue, having the office take over the sewing area could

Sue,

I don't know what you are going through right now, but I know how important quilting is as a therapy in my life. That's why I started saying "need therapy? Make a quilt!" Life can be hard, and quilting will soften the fall some. I have been out of touch with quilters on the net as well as the touchable type of quilters as well, and lately I've been lurking on the NG trying to figure out if this is where I belong again. I used to post here years ago (probably about 7-10 years ago).

Keep your head up and definatly sit down and do some quilting. I am going to take my own advice and start sewing tommorrow too. (I've got to work today.) I have a BOM from the LQS that needs to be done, so I can take it in on Monday and show it off to get the next kit. I think I'll sit down tommorrow and work on that!

So, Sue, get to work on something quilty to take your mind off of what troubles you! That's an order!

Carol > Thank you. I'm hoping I can stay for a while, as this is my only link

*snort* Time to yourself? What's that? *giggle*

Just wait until they get bigger and assume ownership of your stuff. From teen years on, what's theirs is theirs, and what's yours is theirs...

Oh, there'll be pics - not sure what the youngest will be, but the oldest wants to be a Pokemon or Neopet character...now if I can convince him to be the "Butterfree" or "Beautifly" it'd be cool all around. But then again - he's a boy so we'll just have to hope that he will understand when I start screaming after he changes his mind after he's said "This is it, really Mom" for the 50 millionth time - no matter

*what* the costume is...I know, not unheard of for girls either.....

Monarch/Matriarch.... as long as he knows *who's* in charge!!

Christo is 8 Xander is 5 Nichos is 2 Ron will never grow up - but then again that's one of the reasons I married him (I have to keep reminding myself of that!) Casper is 4-ish and shedding white german shephard hair EVERYWHERE!

I'm seriously outnumbered!!! (My Mary Kay meetings come in handy with the major estrogen fix each week!)

Luckily the CT only occurs when I abuse my hands, but even rotary cutting for a large project can irritate. It's quite poopy sometimes!
