Ah! I hosted a 'Christmas party' for neighbour friends, with mulled wine and home-made eatables. It was fun - even I enjoyed it >gg< (even though I had to drink grape juice!). I had fixed hooks and poles on all the empty spaces in the hallways and hung some small quilts on them (something I had been meaning to do since I moved it - completed last month!). In our family it means cousin Pam and niece Stef are having birthdays and that it is 10 days until mine! Need to put away the fall décor and dig out the Christmas stuff. I didn't spend a cent over the weekend. Not one! That is no fun at al! Taria

I also went to the LQS on Saturday. But today I've bought a Christmas gift for DGD (she's five) online, thanks to a Cyber Monday sale. :) There will be something else added to it, but it's a start. The four DGSs get cash, as they prefer to combine gifts from various people and get something "big".
