Obituary in today's paper

Terry's obituary is in today's paper. I asked them to send me a copy. I don't know whether I'll look at it or not. I may not be able to stop myself either way. Thank you all for the comforting thoughts, hugs, and prayers. I will continue to hold onto you all. I will take someone's advice and write about Terry. He was a remarkable man, had a strength like no other. I was blessed to have been his wife. I'll write again in due time. Launie, in Oregon

Oh Launie... how does anyone sum up someone's life in a few short words. Wrap yourself in one of his favorite shirts... pull it close to you... smell his scent and feel his arms wrapped around you. Close your eyes and remember all of the wonderful moments you shared. File the obituary away -- until you feel ready to read it... and know that it shares only the facts of your DH's life and death... and not the sum of his life.

Launie, I am so very, very glad you keep checking in. We are all carrying you in our hearts, and want to know. Do read the obituary. You might be surprised at the connection it will give you. And yay for you to write about him. How wonderful.
