Oh - Happy Day!

Today my sister delivered ALL the parcels that I had had shipped to our cousins' in SC during Feb/Mar/Apr - I needed to borrow the building shopping cart to get everything upstairs! My 'Forest Hollow' kit is gorgeous and worth waiting for and I also have an orbital blade sharpener to play with now too from Nancy's Notions. In total, I have received more than 30yds of fabrics from 2 sources (15yds of batiks, some owls and some fairies plus other delectables). One of the yardages will become the background for my Whooters wallhanging - I knew there was a reason why I hadn't fused the owls yet! I had more fun when I shopped J.Hittle for various notions, etc. Just a couple of weeks ago, I gave in and ordered a magnetic embroidery frame for my pfaff 2144 from Allbrands which came with free software - I shall have fun with that later! Best of all: I ordered a 6pack of water filters from Kitchenaid for my new coffee maker which were on sale in the US - what I received was

6 boxes of 2 water filters each for a total of 12 - these will last me until 2015!! For the cost of these filters in Canada - I have
3times as many for the same price. There are so many things to fondle and read and play with, that I am almost 'boggled'

In case anyone is interested, Tranquility Quilts & Fabric shop is having another 40% off everything sale this week - their Feb sale is what started my whole shopping spree - bali pops for $19.20!! (if they have any left?)

I shall have to reorganize some things in the sewing room again. I don't mind the extra work. jennellh

Isn't it wonderful when everything arrives at once!! I do the same thing - ship to my brother's address in the states and then have to wait for someone to visit. It's just like Christmas! :)

Enjoy your organzing, A.

Happy Day! and then some. I was just having a hissy fit to know how the Forrest Hollow kit was. So thrilled that it is gorgeous. You poor dear, I think you're going to need lots of help playing with your new treasures. Soo very happy for you. Polly

I agree, Polly....we should all go to Jennellh's house and help her out :)
