I found this on my arthritis ng..... and I am pretty sure someone at rctq knows something about this! LOL

MICHIGAN CITY, INDIANA -- Police are searching for a semitrailer filled with

41,000 pounds of chocolate that was stolen from a Michigan City truck stop.

Trucker Daryl Rey said he left the trailer at the Gas City truck stop Thursday morning. When he returned Friday to take the trailer to Wisconsin, it was gone.

Rey said a satellite tracking device attached to the trailer had been removed. LaPorte County Police Chief of Detectives John Boyd says whoever stole the trailer probably did not know that it was filled with chocolate. He said trailers are often stolen for scrap or converted to personal use.

Pat in Virginia was with me all day long. She never left the Swamp even for a minute. Trust me. Polly

Just as long as she shares I don't care where she was....

I'm sure Pat's alibi about being in the Swamp will hold up. After all, she didn't inhale. Polly

And wasn't one of us going to Shipshewana soon?

I promise if you share I won't tell the quilt police.

I didn't do it. Honest. I wish I had though......... :-)))

Welllll, our Mz Flutterby is on a road trip. We haven't heard from her. And she spoke about a meet-up in Shipshewana. Maybe she isn't as innocent as she lets on?????

;) G> I found this on my arthritis ng..... and I am pretty sure someone at rctq

who? me? chocolate? Oh no... not me!!!

now on another front... how do you get dark brown food stains out of your white cottons?

LOL!! I'm too busy to hijack trucks ... got a new job!

Actually, we DO have a swamp, not far from where I live: The Great Dismal Swamp covers parts of both Virginia, and North Carolina

I was suppose to meet Mz. Flutterby in Shipshewanna but we were suppose to have Thunderstorms and bad weather Monday so I cancelled. I am in the Black Swamp area, (speaking of swamps) so the road flood very quickly after a snow melt and rain on top of that. With a mini Cooper it just isn't worth the risk. :-( Would have been great to meet her and what a wonderful reason to take another trip to Shipshe!!!

Haven't heard anything from her and she wouldn't have been far from that truck stop....hmmmm......LOL

Can't wait to hear what she attached that tracking devise to!

Peace,

What a waste.......all the lights were OFF including the street lights so they had the police directing traffic. Not sure when I'll be headed that way again.

Looks like things went well enuf for us to drive to MI the middle of May for a family wedding. Don't think I wanna try flying with the way flights are being cancelled right now.

Too soon to tell how (if any) the trip affected me......other than being quite tired--and taking a daily afternoon nap....sure glad I took my bed pillow.

For the entire trip, I had only ONE incident where I had to return what I ordered. Majority of the time the waiter/resses were very accommodating and were tipped accordingly: ) ((The one that 'messed up' proceeded to squawk about NOT wanting this job but HAD to until she graduated. ))

Did have a Whachamacallit candy bar --they're hard to find out here and I had NO reaction to it Did find some licorice flavored HARD candy though. Didn't see or even HEAR about the stolen candy truck...........so sorry--I woulda sent it on to our Queen for taste testing.
