I had made 12 paper pieced blocks from Carol's group about 18 months ago and hadn't done anything with them. Decided to finish the quilt and decided to put them on point....OK. Gotta make one more block. That made a square quilt. I didn't really want it square. I wanted rectangle to put on the back of the sofa. So I cut pieces to make another 5 blocks. That's 18-12 blocks in various colors with black background. I really want to finish this quilt before digging out another WIP. The plan is to make the corner and side triangles black. But I just ran out of the black fabric. I hope I have some more stashed away in a closet. I'm really trying to use up my stash rather than add to it.

Dancing the AArrrggghhh right along with you on that one, Mary! I hate it when that happens. Do let us know, we all want to see this quilt now. : )

Karen, Queen of Squishies _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ music is all around us, all you have to do is listen

I went digging and found another piece so tonight I can continue with this quilt.

Cool! That's going to be beautiful. I'm glad you found enough black fabric, because it's just perfect!

Thanks, Louise. If I get sewing time after work today, I should be able to finish the top. I may have to put it up until I can shop for backing.
