I'm back home from my travels to Texas for my Dad's funeral and then back to Iowa for his burial. It's been quite a week. I'll have to mark the newgroup "read" to catch up. Hugs and prayers to all who need them. I appreciated the ones that were directed my way. Happy dances for the celebrations of whatever brought you smiles and joy. Now I'm off to bed.

As Jeanne said, it is such a relief to know that you accomplished everything and have reached home safely. Have as good a rest as you can manage for the next few days. Thinking of you. . In message , KJ writes
Kathyl,
Glad to hear you made it back safely. You were on lots of minds and in lots of hearts during the last week.
Glad to hear you're home safe and sound.
Welcome back, Kathyl. I'm really glad you made it safely; we were worried about you driving in that weather. Once again, I'm so sorry for your loss.
Howdy!
Welcome home! Cuddle up in a quilt and take care of yourself.
R/Sandy--aka your go-between ;-)
So glad you're back safe and sound. Again, condolences on your loss.
Glad you are home safe and sound. Be kind to yourself thru the holidays.

Thanks so much Sandy. All is well.
And I thank you for your help in letting the group know how things went.
Thanks Donna!
Kathyl,
Glad to hear you made it both directions safely. The weather just didn't want to cooperate to make it easy on you, did it?
I hope you, your mom, and the rest of the family are doing okay. It's so difficult to deal with the loss of a loved one at any time, but it just seems so much harder at this time of the year.
Hmmm, I actually sent this on the 18th, but it didn't show up until last night (I thought maybe it had been lost so wrote another message!).
Thanks Louise. I sincerely appreciate it.
Hey, you just can't have too many messages with those kind thoughts! Thanks so much.
