hello you all!....just checking in!

My yard is looking better. Boy do I have a good size burn pile to light up this rainy season! Actually it's more like a bon fire! YIKES!!! lol I have moved my garden spot to the other side of the yard...it's now inside a 6 ft chain link fence and doing beautifully. Now I just need more bathtubs and deep sinks to make it bigger! I had my yard sale...had six vehicle loads to sell. At the end I took a truck load to the local shelter and took two boxes to the local thrift store...only came back with one box. I didn't make much, but every little bit helps and I'm a five loads lighter! lol

I have been trying to catch up on the emails daily, but sometimes ya'll are sooo busy it's a struggle. ;-) I haven't done anything quilty, although I have cleaned up/out my sewing area. I've enrolled my son in swim lessons and have been running him to those daily...just trying to keep busy and sain....not crazy! lol

Studying for my CDL for school bus driving! Who'd a thunk it?! lol love to all, Launie, in Oregon

G'day Laurie, I remember (At least I think I do LoL) you were talking (writing) about camping with your son. Have you done any weekends away yet? DH and I have finally organised our US trip to take a 19ft camper from LA to Boston in Sept/Oct. Will miss Oregon, going from Yosemite to Yellowstone NPs. Seems like you are doing well on the clean up missions. Well done. Cheers Bronnie

Admiring your hard work at clearing and cleaning. Just what I need to do but don't get around to accomplishing that much.

Hi Heidi, I've had four computer based exams...air brakes, basic knowledge, passenger endorsement, and school bus endorsement. I passed the basic knowledge allowing me to get my permit. After twenty hours of bus driving training, I went back and retook the three that I'd failed...passing two and yet once again failing the air brakes...maybe three times the charm?! I will be taking the driving test this week at some point in time.

I was awarded a pell grant for the whole school year...which means I won't have to pay that money back, just have to keep up my GPA and credits...and NO EXCUSES NOW! lol

Hunter will be at his grandparents (Terry's dad and step mom's) for the next two weeks. I have tons to do while he's gone....at least I'm going to make myself busy! lol ;-)

Better run for now, take care all, Launie, in Oregon
