Checking in

Hi Beady Ones,

This weekend is multistrand weekend. A gallery in florida wants 12; they are only getting 6, that is all I have time for right now. I also have an order from a local customer for 5 pieces and I have a repair/redesign job to do. This all happened before I realized working would be so time consuming. Also, the local gallery has started to pick up so I have to replenish there. After that, I am just doing fun things for awhile.

Love to you all, KathyH

p.s. Work is going really well. They like me, I like them.

Yes, it is still pretty overwhelming to work 8 -5 every day, but I am doing better with it every week. The money is great and the setting is terrific. I like the people that I work with. Being a liberal Arts University, there are all kinds of interesting things going on all the time. I can see the possibility of some lasting friendships there. I am realizing, however, that I think I am struggling a bit with Adult ADD. It was not as apparent until I started working in an organized setting. I am going to sort of "work with it for awhile" and see if I can deal with it nonmedically. I already am taking meds for depression and anxiety........ maybe they are contributing to my lack of concentration....not sure.

I should be hearing more about the engine this weekend, as the last people get their paperwork in.

As for work, keep in mind that your brain will get tired quicker, even with the anti-depressants. The best way for me to be productive is to pace myself (leisurely), then switch around in what jobs I do. Kind of rotating what parts of my brain I'm using.

Be good to yourself.
