For Mum: she faces a cateract op in the New Year, and at an as yet undetermined point in the near future, open heart surgery to replace her leaky heart valve.
She doesn't do nervous twitches about big stuff like this (neither do I! Must get that from her), but we can't help feeling a little trepedation...

Prayers and good thoughts on the way. The cataract surgery should be a breeze, by comparison, if MSM's is anything to go by. She still marvels over the way she can see colors! I have no idea about the open heart surgery, but will keep your mother in my prayers.
