OT Ad. Do not read

Well, it's not really an ad and you can read this if you want to. I was taking a break from the Sewing Room Massacre and wandered around looking at quilt fabric online sales. Found a good one. Fabric Shack has a beautiful white by Michael Miller for $ 2.98 yd. White is not something I use a lot but sometimes, nothing else will do. This one has a sort of pearly glitter to it; wouldn't work in an antique sort of setting but does contribute a little dazzle when needed. Polly

Sounds lovely. I may need to check it out as I'm going to be in the market for some white fabric soonish. Maybe I should think ahead and get it now.

Did you happen to see any turquoise on your travels?

i always wondered how long that type of dazzle remains on the fabric over time. washing has to affect the stickituitousnous (following your example on an earlier post about pomous...sumpin). j.

I didn't dare look at the turquoise. I would want it all. Turquoise, aqua, mint, opal, teal, ... I love everyone of them. Polly

I hear that, Polly! Nonetheless, I'm going to need some, so I'll just have to take the plunge. :-)

i wonder, Michelle, if you, Ms Polly and Ms Dreamie realize that the waters of the south pacific are now warm and The Most Gorgeous Aqua/Teal/Opalescent you'd ever care to swim in. just fyi, j. :)

I guess I could send some to Leslie. If she doesn't hold the record here for quilt washing, she's certainly high on the list. And I suppose some of the dazzle will wear off. Lots of my own did. Polly

Thank you, dear friend. LOL and good morning - except, I guess it's not morning there. Would you believe it's 20° here in the Swamp? The Yorkshire Terrier thinks it's just glorious. Polly

Aaaawwww, that's sound beautiful! I love those colors too, okay....okay, so I really like a lot of colors, but I do have to say those would be a favorite. And I LOVE anything warm, except ice cream. :o)

Launie, during the time of year when the cows are totally fed by grazing on the grass (rather than bales of hay) their milk makes some of the best ice cream this side of the international dateline. :)) some divine flavours as well as traditional vanilla, french vanilla (had to include that, lol), chocolate and strawberry...think mango, passionfruit, hokey pokey. :) heck, have all three on one cone. might take ya a good half hour to lick your way thru but well worth the time spent, i'd say. :) currently sunny, pleasantly warm, light sea breezes as we sit on the deck in the shade watching the birds as they fly back and forth from one harbour to the other here in auckland...a joy to watch several times a day, they follow the tides in and out. lazing away another summer Waitangi Day here in the south pacific, j.

Sigh. groan. whimper. How loverly that sounds. I'm not real sure that I could climb over the boxes and bins and get outside; probably not nearly even to Florida. Please do go absorb the beauty of the South Pacific for me. Inhale real big and say 'this one's for Polly'. Polly
