OT Bells Palsy

Thanks to everyone who has offered their advice/ knowledge whether personal or otherwise.

DS has one day of steroids left and has seen a little bit of improvement, but in the online research that I have done I do know that any progress can be up and down.

Some of the online stories have I read the palsy has lasted weeks to months, the worst being a question posted by a mum of a 9 month old who had had it since birth and no change at all in that time.

i'd think being born with it means that a nerve was somehow pinched in utero. probly take longer to come right as a result.

seems like your ds having this happen at his age there is the better chance of a reasonably quick and full (or at least not too noticeble for the most part) recovery. all of rctq will cross their respective body parts for that outcome. give that lad a big old hug from us if you can catch him...knowing how much 14yo boys just loooooooove big hugz from strangers, snorfle. watching a winter drizzle day across the ditch, hey its not cold when there rain or drizzle anyhow. j.
