When topping off my lunch, I calculated that you would have to eat 168 Hershey's Kisses to get 100% of your daily requirement of calcium. Calcium is so important for strong teeth and bones. GO for it. Polly

really? i'd faint without food inside me first thing and lunch too. without those i'd be shoveling food down when i did start to fix the massive hunger pangs by then.

Well, now. If we're going to get serious about breakfast - I'm one. I might go the rest of the day without eating but we begin with a serious breakfast. Do you think on this diet that a ½ pound of fried bacon and 4 chocolate glazed doughnuts would be a good start? Polly

Cindy's diet doesn't allow for any slackers, Taria. If you haven't eaten

168 Hershey's kisses, you don't get a doughnut. This is a precise diet. Substitutions are not permitted. Well, maybe. If you're really famished. Polly

"Taria" < wrote> I'm in now if doughnuts are included. Since we cut fat I just can't eat

Rats. I hate to admit I don't have any hershey's kisses in the house. That is probably downright wrong. I don't want to be a slacker. Maybe tomorrow I'll start the diet. : ) Taria

You gals just don't live in the right town......we have a donut shop that serves the ULTIMATE diet breakfast......a huge, light as air maple bar with two crispy slices of bacon on top! They make their maple glaze from pure organic maple syrup......it's practically health food!!

I don't think this diet's going to work for Jennel if she keeps stuffing herself with things that are sugar-free. Polly

See, this is my big problem living over here -all these brand-specific diet tips. Can't I just eat European chocolate? Soap box time, forgive me: Bought a Woman's Day, which appeared at the train station news stand where it never was before. I bought it because it's just so essentially American, and one should respect miracles, even though I wouldn't bother in the US, where it's common as air. And they had "50 ways to cut calories", including useful tips like scooping out the inside of your bagel before eating it (saves about 100 calories). As if we had any bagels worth eating. Or eating a hot dog instead of a cheeseburger -hello! How about not eating either! Or 10 cinnamon graham crackers instead of a cinnamon doughnut -what planet do they live on? Not a single "tip" was of any use to me. Now, if they had an article on how to save money on stash... Roberta in D

I can relate so well to your dilema Roberta. It is a bit like those fabulous desserts... that use an instant pudding or something typically American. LOL

OOh Leslie, what a friend! Just ordered some Andover TOT brown, because the stash is brown-deficient. Gotta have all the food groups! Roberta in D

I LIKE THE WAY YOU THINK! I have two weddings coming up in September and November so I may try this as a way to prepare.
