I want to thank everyone who has sent box tops. I even got a squishy with them! I apologize for not posting to everying individually but things with my mom are a bit overwhelming now. We are trying to get answers from the doctors about how serious her condition is and we can't seem to. I'm up in NY and she is in FL. Fortunately, my sisters are there, but they can't get answers either. I honestly think one reason is that her primary doctor screwed up at some point and he is trying to hide it.
The latest is that her kidneys are compromised, with no real indication of what that means. He had given her a diuretic at one point that he should have known she was allergic to and she had a bad reaction to it. When she picked it up, the drugstore had put an allergy alert sticker on it, so she called him and he said it was not a problem for her - wrong!
From the last phone call from my sister, it looks like I may be heading down there pretty soon. Playing it on a day to day basis. Linda PATCHogue, NY
